Provided directly: product search queries (not associated with identity), Gator Vision photos, correction reports, optional account info.

Automatic: device/browser type, app usage patterns, error logs.

We do NOT: log individual user search histories; collect GPS location; access contacts/calendar; access camera except during Gator Vision use; sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

How We Use Information

To identify products, generate NOVA classifications, improve our shared product database via aggregated anonymized data, respond to feedback, diagnose technical issues.

Photo Handling (Gator Vision)

Photos sent to AWS + Groq for processing
Deleted within 24 hours unless explicitly saved
Not used for marketing or model training
Not associated with identity beyond request duration

Data Retention

Individual user search history: NONE (not retained)
System-wide anonymous search cache: 7 days
Product image cache: 30 days (refreshed by background workers)
Gator Vision photos: 24 hours
Feedback reports: indefinite (personal identifiers removed after 12 months)
Account data: until deleted by user
Cached product metadata: indefinite, anonymous
